What You Can Expect

Bob Adams Al Kolling
When you come to D&D, you’ll find we are respectfully informal, friendly, and honest. Our office guys will help guide you through the troubled waters of this process. “This is not our first rodeo,” is a saying we share with customers that emphasizes our experience. You’ll have to work hard to avoid learning a little something during your visit.
Bringing along a sketch of your layout is a great start. It doesn’t have to be exact. Take some measurements of the depth of your existing top and along the backsplash, where it meets the wall, and indicate where your stove, sink, refrigerator, doorways, peninsula, and island are located. We’ll use this info to generate a quote from the many different styles and color options we offer.

Don’t fret, we always come to your home to make “fabricators measurements,” unless you are going to install it yourself. Even if you are planning to install it yourself, we will still come out to measure if you would prefer, but we charge a little for the effort and responsibility. We believe the up-front communication and coordination of your project is key to saving you time and money in the long run.
This leads to answering the all important question: When will my tops be done and installed? Typically, we complete projects in about three weeks of your deposit, sometimes less.

When we come to measure, most of the time it’s as simple as one of our craftsmen stretching a tape measure and recording the dimensions. On rare occasions, it involves the removal of your existing tops for the purpose of creating templates, which give us an exact layout of your cabinets and wall profiles.

Another great thing is that we can hook you up with all the other professional needs you may have, like plumbing, remodeling, or electrical work. Over the years, we have developed trusted relationships with a small set of top shelf pros, all in business to help you. We’ve done everything from simple vanity top replacements to total kitchen projects and room additions. These tradesmen are prompt, exacting, and CLEAN UP all their messes before they go home each day. We respect your time and home.
All of this streamlines helping you learn to ask the right questions, which leads you to making informed decisions relative to your project.

Plenty of our past customers would welcome you into their homes to see their finished products.
So, stop on by for a quote. (Don’t forget the drawing…)
